getting to wooda by road Take the A30 from Exeter (signposted Okehampton and Bodmin) and a couple of miles after Launceston take the A395 (signposted North Cornwall and Wadebridge.)
After about 8 miles you’ll come to the village of Hallworthy. Here take a right turn onto the B3262 (signposted to Bude.)
After a couple of miles this road hits the A39. Turn right onto the A39 and then take the first left after half a mile (signposted Marshgate and Crackington Haven.) Follow the road through Marshgate and stay on it until you hit a staggered crossroads at the B3263. Go right and immediately left (signposted Crackington Haven.)
Continue downhill passing Hentervene caravan and camping site on your right. You then pass a bungalow on the right and 100 yards further on the right, just past an oncoming SLOW sign, is a gap in the hedge with Wooda written in very small letters!
Follow this dirt track for a quarter of a mile and you will find the farmhouse at the end. If you find yourself in the village of Higher Crackington with Post Office etc. you’ve gone too far.
Travel time from London is four and a half hours. Two hours from the Avonmouth bridge on the M5. One hour from Exeter.
